Sprite Lemon Lime & Cucumber Sampling Campaign

Refreshing and engaging experience reaches Irish fans 

Sprite's refreshing and crisp taste is enjoyed by fans in over 190 countries. But how would Irish consumers react to the introduction of a surprising new flavour? We were called on to launch the brand new Sprite Lemon Lime & Cucumber drink to audiences across the country, and spread the new 'Great taste, no sugar' brand message.


The soft drink industry is under huge pressure to tackle the amount of sugar in their products, especially given the new government-mandated tax on sugar-sweetened drinks. Sprite wanted to send a clear message to consumers that their new Lemon Lime & Cucumber offering is not only sugar-free, but also every bit as thirst-quenching and delicious as their original products. This campaign would also introduce Sprite’s new pack design and visual identity, emphasising the drinks natural and crisp flavours.

Using an eye-catching branded stand, we brought samples of Sprite Lemon Lime & Cucumber - and new-look Sprite - to central locations across Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Galway. We also created a fun and colourful #SpriteRefreshment backdrop that served as a highly successful engagement mechanic. Our Sprite brand ambassadors were on hand to capture and instantly upload branded Instagram boomerangs of fans, and to share the important no-sugar message with consumers. 

We activated at 14 locations across Ireland, giving out a total of 70K samples and achieving a Facebook reach of 14K.
