Renault at NPC 2016

Car manufacturer grabs attention at big show

Almost 300,000 car enthusiasts and families flocked to 2016’s National Ploughing Championships, Europe’s largest outdoor exhibition and agricultural trade show. Renault wanted to make an impact and achieve stand-out as the best car brand on site as the event celebrated its 85th year. We made this happen.

Cutting through the clutter is essential at an event of this scale. With so many attendees and a whole lot of brands in the same space, Because’s task was to come up with a creative and memorable way to make sure that Renault stood out from the crowd. We set out to encourage dwell time, and to create valuable opportunities for direct consumer engagement.

To create a buzz and encourage visitors to stick with the Renault stand, we built an exhibition with huge standout. Our team in Ireland lured in families and car buffs alike with the opportunity to experience 40 Renault vehicles – including the new Megane model – for themselves. The visual appeal of so many cars all in one place showcased the brand’s wide offering, and made sure Renault’s presence at the event was impossible to miss.
Brand roadshows come in many shapes and sizes. And that’s a very good thing. Our work for Renault had a highly distinct look and feel; one that closely mirrored the brand’s values.
