Hive offers a complex ecosystem of smart products for the home. The challenge was to give them a simplified, benefits-led theme to appeal to a mainstream audience at the industry showcase, Milan Design Week.
We created Smartown. A live installation dramatising the emotional bond consumers have with their home, making HIVE the facilitator for easy, comfortable, connected living.
We collaborated with Conversion, Mario Cucinella Architects and School of Sustainability (SOS) to create a beautiful interactive experience with 33 glowing Hive smart homes – showcasing a dozen ways to use Hive’s products – plus a pop-up store with the opportunity to purchase products using touchscreens.
