train like a jedi

THE CHALLENGE

Our task was to fight childhood obesity by raising awareness of the Train Like a Jedi initiative and encouraging children to take part in physical activity that contributes to the government recommended 60 minutes per day.

THE IDEA

Engage children using the Star Wars hook and demonstrate how physical activity can be easy and fun to do

THE SOLUTION

We created a live Jedi training centre where children could test themselves against the challenges the Jedi face in the film.  We provided a take home pack for children to continue their training over the 6 weeks of holidays with simple to do at home activities. Parents signed up to receive weekly advice and tips on how to keep their children active and healthy.

MAKING IT EXTRAORDINARY

Bringing Public Health England and Disney together gave us a unique opportunity to truly excite children about being active.  From the live experience to the content shared weekly we were able to help children and parents make a real change to their behaviour and overall health.
