Sharing a vision for 2020

British Gas wanted to deliver a memorable and thought-provoking event for its strategic consultants and pubic sector buying groups to gather and explore the company’s future direction together. BEcause took care of things by organising a highly-targeted, engaging and seamless event that firmly delivered on objectives.

British Gas sought to stage a strong, engaging day to share its 2020 vision and long-term strategy with key stakeholders. The event needed to address the changing shape of the UK energy market and provide a solid grounding in the industry and regulatory changes affecting the business. The brand also wanted to provide its stakeholders with a memorable and enjoyable social opportunity to bring teams closer together and facilitate valuable networking opportunities.

We secured a private suite at Windsor Racecourse as the perfect background for an intimate, but packed, day of knowledge sharing and corporate hospitality. Working closely alongside the venue provider, our team of experiential events experts slickly dressed the room in corporate branding, created eye-catching staging and visual presentations, and custom-built a sizeable eCRM system to manage invitations, dietary requirements and share important event information ahead of the day itself.

Mapping out a full customer journey prior to the event, we ensured that breakout workshop sessions provided plenty of opportunities for delegates to network throughout the day. We built an integrated voting system for attendees, with voting buttons providing for immediate feedback throughout the day. We also made sure that every single element of the event was relevant to all attendees. The day was capped off with an evening at the races, providing the perfect conclusion to an enriching and valuable event.
