Walking waxing stunt ‘So good, it hurts’
The Fuzz Wax Bar in Toronto tore a strip off its competitors with this novel street-based promotion.
A man covered in waxing strips walked around town, inviting consumers to rip off a promotion coupon for a 25% discount on their next visit to Fuzz Wax. Each strip bore a cartoon face indicating the expected level of pain associated with waxing that part of his body. A simple, effective idea that really brought to life the brand’s slogan “So Good, it Hurts”.
