Client: Brugal Rum
Challenge: Create two-city ‘hot house’ sampling campaign reflecting Brugal Rum’s Caribbean heritage.
Concept: A taste of the Caribbean
Execution: Rustic Caribbean rum shack with corrugated iron roof, seagrass and wood set up at Bristol Harbour Festival and Bingley Music Live. Festival-goers enjoyed cocktail samples and dominoes at the pop-up bar. Brand Ambassadors talked about the Brugal Rum story and distributed leaflets and coupons. Live events backed by 3 weeks of in-bar cocktail sampling at hand-picked venues in Bristol and Leeds.
Results: Over 10,000 samples enjoyed at the festivals; nearly 3,000 during the in-bar cocktail nights.
